After-School All-Stars (ASAS) Ohio is delighted to host its annual Evening of Stars: Friday, March 1, 2013. We are honored to be a part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Arnold Sports Festival.
Gov. Schwarzenegger has not only made a tremendous impact on the sports world but has also made a significant contribution to disadvantage youth across the United States during those critical hours after school. We are proud to highlight our student and community All-Stars during our spectacular evening with our founder, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
We invite you to help Arnold give back to the Columbus, Toledo, and Dayton communities. Your support and contributions will have a direct effect on the students we serve. To purchase a ticket or to become a sponsor of our evening please contact: Aslyne Rodriguez at 614.257.1678 or at aslyne@as-as.org.
After-School All-Stars was founded in 1992 by Arnold Schwarzenegger and has grown to serve over 81,000 disadvantaged children in 453 schools in 12 different chapters across the country.
After-School All-Stars Columbus was established in 2000 and serves over 2,000 students per year in partnership with Columbus City Schools, Columbus Recreation and Parks and other community organizations. This upcoming school year, with the support of the Ohio Governor’s Office of Community and Faith Based Initiatives, After-School All-Stars will expand its program to Toledo and Dayton schools, becoming After-School All-Stars Ohio.
The ASAS mission is to provide quality, comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and in life.
