The 17th Annual Fitness International is the most prestigious event for the top professional female fitness competitors in the world and consists of two parts, prejudging and finals. The prejudging event is the only time in the competition that all of the competitors are on stage at the same time. The field of 15 to 20 competitors are evaluated by a panel of expert International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) judges to determine who advances to the finals.
Prejudging
Prejudging consists of one round featuring a comparison of athletes wearing a two-piece swimsuit.
Prejudging is Friday, March 5 at noon on the Arnold Fitness EXPO stage. Admission is included in the $10 daily EXPO ticket.
Finals
Finals consist of two rounds. In the first, each competitor performs a two-minute highly energetic aerobic/dance routine. The routine is set to music and competitors wear costumes of their choosing. In the last round, competitors wear a two-piece swimsuit and high heels for a final round of side-by-side comparisons to determine the winner.
Finals are Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at Veterans Memorial. Tickets are $50 and $75 for reserved seating.
