Strength Training Summit Offers Cutting Edge Instruction
The Arnold Strength and Fitness Trainers Summit blends the latest in knowledge of fitness, health and performance development with the excitement of the Arnold Sports Festival. The Summit is March 1-4 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
“It’s an unparalleled learning opportunity for personal trainers, strength coaches, athletic trainers and other allied health professionals,” said David Sandler, event chairman.
The program begins Thursday, March 1 with a preparation symposium for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) exam. Friday, March 2 includes a speed-power specialist workshop and lectures begin that continue for two and a half days. Diverse topics include improving sports speed, circuit training methods, evidence-based weight loss, injury prevention and performance enhancement techniques and fitness assessment for clients.
NSCA continuing education credits (CECs) are available and accepted by most allied health professions.
Registrations range from $50 to $300. Conference early bird registrations are up to half price until January 15. The Full Conference Registration includes two Daily EXPO tickets, a T-Shirt and conference proceedings on CD.
