We are going to be Spinning for Charity on Friday March 3, 2017 at the Arnold Sports Festival. Come by Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club at 3111 Hayden Rd., Columbus, OH 43235 to help raise money for 3 local charities: After School All Stars, Urban & Shelley Meyer Fund for Cancer Research & Z+ Health & Fitness. The event is hosted by Z+ Health & Fitness, a local non-profit organization, with support from Premier at Sawmill Athletic Club. Come Spin with top notch instructors who will help you burn calories to the beat! You can ride for 1 class or all 5 and help raise funds for charity.
Event Details: Riders will be lead by a certified Spinning Instructor who will use music to motivate you on a great ride for charity! Riders will register for a bike for the duration of a 45 minute class. Riders can register for more than 1 class if they desire to ride more than 45 minutes. Riders doing multiple classes can ride through the 15 minute break between classes. On the day of the event we recommend riders arrive 30 minutes in advance of the class. Once riders arrive they should check in at the registration table, and they may also use the club's locker rooms before and after the ride. There will be 15 minutes between each class to allow for riders to set-up their bikes and prepare for the ride. Event Spinning bikes will be Spinner NXT bike with Shimano SPD clip in pedals or toe cages. Each bike will also have a computer that will track your mileage. Riders will be expected to provide their own nutrition and hydration during the ride.
Registration: Registration and packet pickup will be in the main lobby of Premier Fitness at Sawmill. There will be race day registration on site on race day if available. Event Registration includes a free pass to the Arnold Fitness EXPO and Arnold Sports World events. Event shirts can be purchased for $10 with your registration or on the day of the event. The online registration deadline is Friday March 3, 2017 at 4:59pm. Day of registration will also be available at the race venue starting at 4:00pm. Spots are limited so sign up today!
Top Fundraiser Awards: The top two Fundraisers will get to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger at a luncheon on Sunday. The winners will be the 2 individuals that have raised the most total dollars by 5:00pm on Friday March 3, 2017. The luncheon will be Sunday March 5, 2017 starting around 11:00am. Information and tickets will be provided to the winners on Friday at the event.
Raise Money for Local Charities: Your event registration covers the cost of putting on this event. We also ask that you help us raise money for our partner charities. We hope you are able meet and exceed our fundraising goal for this event. We are asking that each rider raise $50 for their chosen charity. Once you register you can create a fundraising page for yourself or your team. You can then share this link with your family and friends so they can donate on your behalf.
