COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Arnold Strongman USA Championship, featuring the strongest men in the world, will return to the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles on January 18, 2020.
The Arnold Strongman USA Championship is part of the Arnold Pro Strongman World Series, with the winner of the event earning a spot in the prestigious Arnold Strongman Classic at the 2020 Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
The inaugural Arnold Strongman USA Championship was held on the Santa Monica Pier in January 2019. The event drew a sold-out crowd that saw Martins Licis take the title in front of a cast of Hollywood Stars that included: host Arnold Schwarzenegger; Hafthor Bjornsson, World’s Strongest Man and star of Game of Thrones, Sofia Vergara of Modern Family, and True Blood’s Joe Manganiello.
A portion of the proceeds benefit The Ventura County Fire Department Widows, Orphans & Assistance fund; CDF Firefighters benevolent foundation, and the Santa Monica Firefighters Relief Fund.

The Arnold Pro Strongman World Series is a professional sports league that features the world's best Strongmen competing around the globe for the right to compete in the Arnold Pro Strongman World Championship at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
The 2019 Arnold Pro Strongman World Series features qualifying contests at Arnold Classic multi-sport festival in Australia, South America, Africa and Europe. In 2019, an additional qualifying event will be held at Festival Hommes Forts Warwick in Warwick, Quebec, Canada and in Los Angeles in January 2020 with winners advancing to compete at the 2020 Arnold Pro Strongman World Championship at the 2020 Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
