Come see a fantastic show of teamwork and strength in this unique two-person deadlift event that features two lifters preforming deadlifts together.
The National Championpships Double Deadlift will be held Sunday, March 3 from Noon-4 p.m. at the Rhodes Center at the Ohio Expo Center.
Cheer on the teams of lifters who will be trying to break the 1,500-pound mark. Teams of lifters can be made up of any combination of men, women and teens of various bodyweights and age groups.
All competitors are required to qualify prior to competition. Qualifying weights start at 450 pounds for teens of any weight class and go up to 1,100 pounds for teams of heavyweight men.
At the 2018 event, the light-middleweight team of Kyle Brown and Mike Baker (pictured above) successfully lifted 1,200 pounds, the heaviest weight lifted during the event.
