Arnold Sports Festival Overview
With more than 75 sports and events, including 14 Olympic sports, the 2019 Arnold Sports Festival presents fitness and fun for all ages February 28-March 3, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio USA.
The festival has expanded into the world’s largest multi-sport fitness weekend since it began in 1989, when it debuted as the Arnold Classic, a one-day professional men’s bodybuilding competition. The Arnold Sports Festival is co-promoted by legendary bodybuilder and film star Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. About 200,000 sports fans are expected to watch more than 22,000 athletes compete more than 75 sports and events at a variety of venues, including the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Ohio Expo Center, Hilton Columbus Downtown, EXPRESS LIVE! Pavilion and Hollywood Casino Columbus.
For the fourth straight year, the Arnold Sports Festival will present the Arnold SportsWorld Kids & Teens EXPO at the Ohio Expo Center. Arnold SportWorld will be held in the Bricker Building on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 and will feature demonstrations and clinics in a wide variety of sports. In addition, archery, baton twirling, boxing, cheerleading & dance, equestrian, gymnastics, martial arts, pickleball, table tennis, taekwondo, XPC Powelifting and POWER X powerlifting competitions will also be held at the Ohio Expo Center.

Many Arnold Sports Festival participants are youth competing in archery, boxing, cheerleading and dance, DanceSport, fencing, gymnastics, martial arts, table tennis and weightlifting. Top student athletes compete for one of ten $2,500 college scholarships presented by the Columbus Rotary and the Arnold Sports Festival.
Olympic Sports: The Arnold Sports Festival is a proving ground for many aspiring athletes. Former Olympians and Olympic hopefuls will appear or compete in 14 Olympic Sports: archery, boxing, equestrian, fencing, gymnastics, judo, karate, running (Arnold 5K), table tennis, taekwondo, soccer, swimming, tennis and weightlifting.
