Guy 'Quadro' Cisternino
Division: IFBB Pro 212 Bodybuilding
Turned Pro: 2008
Height / Weight: 5-5 / 208 lbs.
Location: Branchburg, New Jersey USA
Guy Cisternino was first inspired by his father’s athletic ability and physique. Guy ‘senior’ played football through college and boxed on the side.
Guy ‘junior’ also liked to play football. With a small stature, he realized he’d need to make up for the lack of height and weight with strength. His father bought him a weight set when he was in the 7th grade and he trained hard to prove himself on the field.
Cisternino went on to play college football at Western Connecticut State University as a running back. In 2003, Cisternino was convinced to compete in his first bodybuilding event in West Virginia, where he won his division but, lost the overall to current IFBB pro Fred Smalls. Afterward he fell in love with the sport, the training, the commitment and dedication needed to succeed in a sport not many people could do.
His break out year was 2007 where he won his class at Metropolitans in New York and two weeks later at the Jr. Nationals. Then at the 2008 Nationals he won his pro card with a perfect score. In 2011, he won his first show, Europa Dallas.
