Jose Raymond and his brother Tito were adopted at an early age. Both excelled in sports such as soccer, football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and track. It was Jose's social worker who suggested he lift weights to burn off stress.
By the age of 13 Jose was 5'4", 150 pounds and very muscular. By his Sophomore year of high school, he could bench 315 pounds.
When Jose was 18, his brother Tito convinced him to compete alongside him at the New England Bodybuilding Championships. Raymond won the teenage division and has been bodybuilding ever since.
He went on to win his IFBB pro card at the 2007 NPC National Championships. As an IFBB Pro, Raymond has an unprecedented contest history placing in the top 6, 32 times and winning 10 contests.
