Quincy 'The Q' Winklaar
Division: IFBB Pro 212 Bodybuilding
Turned Pro: 2011
Height / Weight: 5-8 / 212 lbs.
Quincy Winklaar has always been an inspiration to others, first as an Army veteran, then as a police office and now as a bodybuilder with his motivational videos inspiring fans to try bodybuilding.
Winklaar himself was first inspired to be a bodybuilder by his older brother Roelly Winklaar. Roelly won the Arnold Amateur Championships in 2009 and several pro competitions since. Quincy also drew inspiration from bodybuilding greats Frank Zane and Dexter Jackson.
Always fit, Winklaar first added bodybuilding exercises to his gym routine in 2009 while in the Dutch Army.
Winklaar’s early physique needed some adjustments as it wasn’t proportional. His upper body was more filled in than his lower body. Brother Roelly helped him learn new lower body exercises like squats, deadlifts and lunges and his legs quickly filled in to match his upper body. He earned his pro card in 2011 and is eager to notch his first pro win.
