Candice Lewis-Carter Breaks Though With Figure International Title

Candice Lewis-Carter of Denver, Colo., earned the biggest victory of her career when she won the the prestigious Figure International for the first time. Cydney Gillon of Atlanta, Ga., was second for the second straight year. Lewis-Carter received the champion’s trophy from Arnold Schwarzenegger and $16,000, a Tony Nowak Official Champions Jackets and congratulations from Optimum Nutrition and Midway Labs USA.

The remainder of the Figure International top six:

  • 2nd place: Cydney Gillon of Atlanta, Ga, received $10,000 and a trophy from ROGUE Fitness and Animal.
  • 3rd place: Latorya Watts of Las Vegas, Nev., received $8,000 and trophy from BSN and Jan Tana.
  • 4th place: Camala Rodriguez of Denver, Colo., received $5,000 and a trophy from Ricart Automotive and the Columbus Dispatch.
  • 5th place: Gennifer Strobo of Orlando, Fla, received $3,000 and a trophy from EAS and Body Fortress.
  • 6th place: Heather Dees of Salt Lake City, Utah, received $2,000 and a trophy from Performix and Quest Nutrition.
